BIG BLUE & RIP RUNNER SPORT FISHING TRIPS
Our Sport Fishing Trips generally have great catches of different species on most occasions, such as Snapper, Gummy Sharks, Flathead, Salmon, Squid, Trevally, Whiting, Shark and various Reef Fish.
With Phil Stephens of Rip Charters having 24 years experience fishing the waters of Southern Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, you will be given the greatest opportunity to hook the fish of a lifetime.
Individuals, groups, or social clubs are welcome!
Either of our vessels can be hired privately for such occasions as: Corporate Groups, Social Clubs, Birthday Partys, Sunset Cruises, Friends Get-togethers, Hens/Bucks Parties.
Catering Packages are also available on Private Charters, please enquire.
Trips depart from Sorrento Pier, Sorrento, Victoria, Australia. (Or Queenscliff Boat Harbour upon arrangement).
All rods, reels, bait and tackle supplied. Fish will be cleaned and bagged for your convenience, ready to cook up on the BBQ.

INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS
Individuals can be small groups joining other small groups to make up charter numbers.
Half day 5 Hrs $100 per head (Snapper, Salmon, Whiting, Squid, Gummys)
Half day 6 Hrs $120 per head (Snapper, Salmon, Whiting, Squid, Gummys)
Full day 8 Hrs $170 per head Includes a BBQ lunch
ABOARD BIG BLUE & RIP RUNNER
PRIVATE CHARTER
Classed as a private charter, group charters offer exclusive use of the vessel and the customer's choice of duration, targeted species and catering options.
Half day 5 Hrs $1300 - 13 Passengers
(additional passengers $100 per head up to Maximum 16 on Big Blue or Maximum 14 on Rip Runner)
Half day 6 Hrs $1560 - 13 Passengers
(additional passengers $120 per head up to Maximum 16 on Big Blue or Maximum 14 on Rip Runner)
Full day 8 Hrs $2210- 13 Passengers (includes BBQ lunch)
(additional passengers $170 per head up to Maximum 14 Passengers)
RESERVATION POLICY
Payments:
- For Individual and small group bookings payment is required in full using a credit card over the phone.
- For Private Charters a 30% deposit is required to make a reservation when booking using credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
- Final payment on the day either credit card or cash.
- Bookings are fully transferable and can be rescheduled with reasonable notice.
- Refunds are not available.
Booking Terms and Conditions:
- You MUST provide a mobile contact number whereby you are reachable either the night before of the morning of your trip.
- Minimum numbers for a trip to proceed are 8 aboard Big Blue and 9 aboard Kestrel lll. Rip Charters reserves the right to cancel a trip if minimum numbers are not met.
- All cancellations or changes to numbers not given with 14 days notice will be held accountable for total cost. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Check in Times:
To keep faith with other guests DEPARTURE TIMES FOR ALL TRIPS ARE EXACT. If you are late, you will have to make another appointment. Please allow plenty of time for Summer traffic and delays in finding a car park.
Cancelled Trips:
Transfers to another charter date will be issued when a trip is cancelled due to:
a. Rip Charters skipper regards the weather conditions as unsafe.
b. Unforseen circumstances outside of Rip Charters control.
